This can happen to anyone. We accidentally delete an email that you really need. And it just happened that important work file, attachment or image. Now then what? How can I restore that e-mail? It is even possible? Surely, it could be permanently deleted?

Well, I have good and bad news.

Let's start with the good news.

restore deleted e-mails

If you delete an email, it does not really go anywhere. Even if you emptied the recycle bin or the "Trash" folder in your Inbox – the email still is not deleted. It's just that your computer system now has no way to find out where he is. But there's a hard drive. By using special email recovery tools you can recover deleted emails because these programs identify these 'missing' files and bring them back to life.

Now the bad news.

Act quickly and increase the chances of

The bad news is that you act quickly. There is only a little over time, which will try to try to recover the lost e-mails. Every minute that you waste and continue to use the drive in anything that is not related to the recovery of e-mails, you can slightly reduce the chances of successful email recovery. Why?

Well, because the hard drive continuously reviewed the files to make room for new information you put into it. If the hard drive is full and there is not much space or memory available – it is very likely that e-mail has been overwritten and deleted – permanently.

Other problems to restore deleted e-mails

Not all deleted or lost emails go to "Trash" folder. If you have suffered a computer crash or hardware failure or operating system is damaged in some way, then it is unlikely that emails you have deleted can be recovered.

Furthermore, if you have not opened the email at all or have not yet been canceled due to the usual file corruption, it is likely there will be less chance to recover and restore the email in its entirety.

Nothing to Lose

deleted email programs search and locate the emails that you have deleted. You can search by entering a specific keyword for example. You can then choose to preview the email that the content and if it's been recovered in its original state of the program. You can also select to scan for what ever email program uses (and restore) – a web-based e-mail such as Hotmail, Yahoo and Gmail or Outlook Express.

The best bit is. Most of these email recovery programs are free to download. When you begin the hard drive looking for the deleted email and then manage to find, and if you are completely satisfied that that's your missing email – you can then proceed to purchase the software.

Essentially, if you have nothing to lose (if the email does not exist – it is not there) and everything to gain.

Well, at least you can get your deleted email back.
